Signs You Might Need Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Signs that your wisdom teeth are impacted and may need to be removed include:

  • Toothache, tenderness and jaw pain
  • Bad taste in your mouth when eating
  • Redness
  • Swelling of the gums around the tooth
  • Cysts, which are pockets of liquid, around the tooth
  • Bad breath caused by infection

These symptoms should never be ignored. Impacted wisdom teeth left untreated can lead to serious oral health complications that may require invasive and expensive surgical intervention.

If you are experiencing discomfort or pain with your wisdom tooth eruption, book your appointment with our dentist in Gordon today.
